people STUDIO Hair Salon is a premium hair salon in the northern Sydney suburb of Chatswood.Headed by TOP INTERNATIONAL Stylists Ken Hu and May Xue together with more than 25 years of celebrity and professional experience people STUDIO is the sister salon to the highly acclaimed people HAIRDRESSING of Potts Point, Sydney, which was established by one of Australia's leading stylists, Mr Hamish Glianos, in 2009. Glianos is well known for his expertise across both fashion runways and editorial shoots, as well as a stellar celebrity clientele. His current professional work also extends to resident hair stylist for top rating television talent quest, The Voice. Ken Hu is likewise a highly celebrated stylist who has worked around the world at the highest levels of hair styling and creative direction. Originally trained at the famous Toni & Guy salon in London in the late nineties, Hu went on to become Art Director for the brand in Shanghai, China. His work with Toni & Guy further developed into the role of Senior Technical Advisor for their Asian Academy, responsible for training all staff at the elite level of the brand throughout Asia. In 2005 Hu was appointed China's national hair fashion judge of the highly respected Hair Fashion Association. The recipient of several major awards himself, in 2006 he was bestowed the prestigious LOreal Colour Asia Award, and in 2009, Cutting Edge Hairdresser of the Year. Like Glianos he counts several high profile Chinese celebrities amongst his clientele, including Hong Kong based film star Simon Yam, singer Allen Su, chart-topping Taiwanese band Sodagreen, and celebrated Shanghai identity Wang Guan to name a few.
